Cats evolved in the deserts and savannahs of Africa which has led to physiology unlike any other domestic species. Cats are highly responsive to their environment, prefering a quiet, secluded spot, especially when they are feeling unwell. Being the smallest predator on the block, they have evolved to be very good at hiding pain and incapacitation, unless they feel secure. This makes a cat only facility ideal for healing kitties, without the stresses created by dogs.

We are a veterinary clinic dedicated to our feline friends, providing full medical, surgical and dental care. We also board kitties in luxury accomodations by the day, week or month.

We believe that cats form a unique bond with their owners, unlike that of a dog, bird or reptile. We also understand that cats demand to be treated as individuals, but that they are a uniquely complex species, both medically and behaviourally.

Veterinary medicine is also evolving, at an extraordinary pace. Like human medicine, it’s become hard to keep up with all the latest drugs, techniques and diseases for one species, much less many! Historically, cats have been an “overlooked” species, resulting in fewer educational and pharmaceutical advances.
